UNITI BANK PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy is set out below. It is current as of January 1, 2002. Our Privacy Policy, like the other Policies at our Bank, is used by us as a guideline and a business-planning tool. It is not a contract or standard that we are obligated to follow in all cases or in all manners, and we may change it in accordance with our internal policy-setting procedures, from time to time and with or without public notice of the modification or a change to the following. If you would like to verify that this is or is not a current version of our Privacy Policy, please contact us at (714) 736-5700.

At Uniti Bank we take it seriously the confidence that our customers entrust to us. Protecting our customers' privacy is a key priority. As a result, we have adopted the following privacy policies, which apply to the banking business of Uniti Bank. Our Privacy Notice is also available one of our branch offices.

Recognition of Your Expectation of Privacy. We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard the nonpublic personal information (NPI) that we have about you. We maintain standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information.

Collection, Retention, and Use of Information about You. We collect, retain and use NPI about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business or provide products, services, and other opportunities to you. We collect and retain NPI about you only for specific business purposes and we will tell you why we are collecting and retaining it upon your request. Here are some examples of how we use NPI about you: to protect and administer your records, accounts, and funds; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and superior service.

Our Maintenance of Accurate NPI. We have procedures to help assure that your NPI is accurate, current, and complete in accordance with commercial standards. We also have procedures to respond to your requests to correct inaccurate NPI in a timely manner.

Limiting Employee Access to NPI. We have procedures that limit employee access to personally identifiable NPI to those employees with a business reason to know such NPI about you. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures, special training programs, and our policies on ethics. We take what we believe are appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

Security Procedures to Protect NPI. We maintain security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to NPI about you.

Restrictions on Disclosing NPI to Parties Outside Our Bank. Except as set forth in this Policy, we do not reveal NPI about our customers', or former customers, accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our bank unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the NPI is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; (3) the NPI is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or (4) the disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required. We do not provide NPI to companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.

Maintaining Your Privacy in Business Relationships with Parties Outside Our Bank. We sometimes find it necessary to provide NPI about you to a party outside our Bank, such as to a vendor or service company that we hire to prepare your account statements or to provide support or services for one or more of our products. These vendors and service companies must first have agreed to safeguard the NPI about you and your products and services with us; in many cases, they are also subject to other legal restrictions on reuse or re-disclosure.

Disclosing Our Privacy Commitment to You. We want you to understand our commitment to personal privacy and our use of NPI. If you have further questions or comments, please contact us at the number above. This Policy applies both to our website and our other dealings with you, our customers.

Children's Privacy. We feel our web site is directed to a general audience. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal NPI from children on our site.
